The Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Technology Corridor^TM is a 12-county region in eastern Iowa with a growing population that exceeds 400,000.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago study lists the Iowa City area as No. 1 in Job Growth - 8.9 percent, faster than any other metro area in the region including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.

"Forbes" magazine lists Iowa City is listed No. 5 Best Small Metro Area for Business and Careers; and Cedar Rapids No. 44 Best Metro for Business and Careers. 

According to Morgan Quitno Press 2007 Iowa is No. 6 Most Livable State in the nation.

The Milken Institute 2006 rates Iowa No. 48 for Cost of Doing Business (Ranking 1-51 including D.C.; 51=Best)

Iowa's public school graduation rate in 2004 was 90.4 percent.
