The area is also well served by rail. The Union Pacific East-West mainline travels through Corridor. The Canadian National Railroad also services the area through their Illinois Central Railroad and Chicago Central and Pacific subsidiaries. The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Railway (CRANDIC), is a short-line that serves many local industries. These lines interchange with several major United States railroads serving all of North America.
